The Wiz Worcester Theatre reviews
The Force - The Music - Oh Master Jedi !
"George, brilliant you are," Jedi Master Yoda would have said. The compositions were put out by the Orchestra and a full strength vocal chorus with such grace and aplomb that sometimes it was very hard to keep track of their physical presence. Often carried away into a mesmerizing trance, the audience was, with brilliant - I mean - brilliant color synchronized lights that were projected every which way but loose, and masterful spliced and diced cut sequences on the Monster Projection screen. The whole Auditorium roared with approval more than once, and Nope ! the Audio was not a track - it was - The Wiz. Cool, it was not, it was HOT! Only to snap back into reality when the sequence was over. What's to say - You are Brilliant, George!
